Insecure Writers Support Group June 2nd 2025

Insecure Writers Support Group Post 1st of MAY

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time - and return comments. This group is all about connecting!

July 2 question - Is there a genre you haven't tried writing in yet that you really want to try? If so, do you plan on trying it?

Horror, that's one that I'd love to try, and yes I do have one coming up, well it's using the horror characters from Werewolves, Vampires, Mummy, etc., it's further along the line and hoping that I can pull it off.

  2. Happy IWSG Day, TWW! Horror is one genre I don't think I could write. I've enjoyed reading some horror books, but it is an intense experience for me. Forget horror movies; I find them too terrifying. I also don't whistle past graveyards. 😂. I'm wishing you success as you tackle this genre.

  3. Thank you so much, it's a couple of books into the series, so here's hoping I don't change my mind and go all softly, softly. Grins excitedly to get there, though.
