ABOUT PAGE:
Every blog and web page has them, also social media pages. This is where you tell your readers all about who you are and what genre you are writing in. It's usually the first point of contact your readers have with you. Here you can also list your social media, your website and your email, and share a nice photo of you.
AUDIENCE:
Who is it you are writing for? Adults, kids, men, teens, lgbtq+, summer reads, horror buffs, speculative fiction, DIY'ers, non - fiction, religious, academics...to mention a few. This is something you should figure out at the beginning, along with the genre you want to write in. When you know this, you have an idea of how to write your posts.
ARTICLE / BLOG POST:
An article or blog post, is the story you have decided to tell, or story you are telling at that point in time. It could be a book review, how to article, or a diary entry, amongst other things. They can be as long or short as you like.
