Make sure you use the proper hash tags (#) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) techniques that enable followers to find not only your blog, but the post / articles you create.

If you write on more mature (18 +), it goes without saying that you need to safe gaurd your site from younger individuals, or those of a less mature nature. Or those who would be upset don't find it.
Sometimes those who would be upset by X-rated stuff look for it just so they can be upset. Unfortunately.
