The basic idea behind this one, is
that you write as you are writing your throw up first draft, you don’t edit
your thoughts until after you are finished the piece you are writing, or the 2nd
to 3rd draft.

What is meant here is to be a guide to the world that you have created, show people around, let them get to know your characters, your worlds, your vision. Then there is the actual Guide Books, if you need to research something or a place, then use one of these, they can also be handy for inspiration, containing little bits about areas.
