March 1 question - Have you ever read a line in novel or a clever plot twist that caused you to have author envy?
The answer to this question is 'on a frequent basis'. Great authors and not so great authors can sometimes have the most perfect lines, and awesome plot twists. This is simply because no two authors share the same brain cell. Of course there are similar ideas, and visions, but no two are the same. I'll bet if you look you will find people that love a line, or plot twist that you came up with.
Very true and sometimes a badly written book can be gripping, even as you groan at the poor spellings and the inconsistencies. A 'classic' equally an be tiresome with too much padding. It's all according to taste, I suppose.
