Evening All...

Well, it's been a while, eh? I've not exactly been working on my third novel. I've been planning a house move and had decided to wait until we were in our new home before I got back to it, but time is ticking on, and while there is hope, we haven't got the keys or council approval yet (it's days away; I can feel it), so on Tuesday I started back at it.

I had the opportunity due to the fact that my partner's mother was on the second day of her new hip replacement recovery, which afforded me time to myself to do some work.

When I looked at the document file that my novel was stored in, I discovered that some parts hadn't been transferred over when I'd copied it from my Scrivener back into my updated Microsoft Word program.

Because of this I have had to restart my editing to put back in what was missing. These are references that I tend to put into all my books at the bottom of each page. Now I do understand that references are not everyone's cup of tea, but do they need to be?

The things I reference are Irish words (being Irish, I've used my native language and based my novel in Ireland and also used our history) and my world's tech and differences from the modern world.

So, what do they say about life? it's a dance, a cha-cha-cha...one step forward, two back. lol
